  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • Ground nutmeg
  • Ground allspice

Instructions

  1. Simmer apple cider in a saucepan over medium heat until reduced to about 1/2 cup; let cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix cold cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla until smooth; refrigerate.
  3. Beat softened butter with sugars until creamy; add egg yolks and vanilla.
  4. Gradually blend in flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop dough onto lined baking sheet; create an indentation in each.
  6. Fill with cheesecake mixture and bake for 11 minutes until edges are golden.
