  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 12 oz twisted pasta (like rotini or fusilli)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the twisted pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning and sauté in olive oil until golden brown; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté minced garlic, then stir in chicken broth and heavy cream.
  4. Add cream cheese and cheeses, stirring until melted into a smooth sauce; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta and chicken in the skillet, tossing to coat evenly; simmer briefly to meld flavors.
