Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy and set aside.
  2. Preheat a Dutch oven over medium-high heat; add tallow and swirl to coat.
  3. Sear the sirloin chunks for 2-3 minutes per side until browned, then remove from pot.
  4. Brown the ground beef in the same pot for about 15 minutes, adding optional spices.
  5. Return seared sirloin to the pot, then pour in the beef broth and stir well.
  6. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes.
  7. Crumble in the cooked turkey bacon and mix; season with salt as needed.
