  • ¼ cup double cream
  • 3 ½ oz unsalted ground pistachios
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 ½ oz kataifi pastry
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 9 oz milk chocolate
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅔ cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the kataifi pastry batter by mixing flour, cornstarch, sugar, salt, vegetable oil, and water until smooth. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the batter on a nonstick pan by piping thin strands into circles until set but not browned. Allow to cool.
  3. Melt white chocolate with double cream in short intervals until smooth. Blend ground pistachios into a paste and mix into the chocolate.
  4. Toast the kataifi in butter until golden brown; combine with the pistachio mixture and chill for an hour.
