  • 18 oz fresh blackberries
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Raw sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pie crust by mixing flour, sugar, and salt in a stand mixer. Add cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add ice water until dough forms. Chill for at least one hour.
  2. Cook diced apples with butter, bourbon, vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar until syrupy; allow to cool.
