  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (whisked)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (170°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil and lightly grease it.
  2. Melt chopped dark chocolate and butter together until smooth. Stir in granulated sugar and whisk in eggs one at a time.
  3. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; pour into the prepared pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, egg, vanilla extract, brown sugar, spices, and cornstarch until smooth. Pour over the brownie layer.
  5. Bake for approximately 50 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool before cutting into squares.
