Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz Velveeta, cubed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, optional for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook rotini pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a large skillet, melt butter with olive oil over medium-high heat; sear steak for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower heat and sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and add Velveeta cubes; stir until melted. Add mozzarella and cheddar until the sauce is thick and creamy.
  5. Stir in cooked rotini to coat evenly with the sauce, then add back the steak strips to warm through for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
